Sudan warns medicine, fuel, wheat running out amid port blockade

Published
People from the Beja tribe have blocked roads around the main port for more than two weeks to rally against what they say is a lack of political power and poor economic conditions.
However, Sudan's government is warning that it's about to run out of medicine, fuel, and wheat as the protest enters its third week.
The Sudanese cabinet called on demonstrators to negotiate with the government rather than hold up critical goods.

Al Jazeera's Mohammed Adow has more from Port Sudan, Sudan.
