Teenage pregnancy rate continues to rise despite government's efforts to curb it.

On Christmas Day, the National Health Department spokesperson Foster Mohale confirmed that the number of teenage mothers increased slightly from 90 in 2024 to 130 this year.

In light of this, the department said collaborative efforts by all stakeholders to intensify awareness campaigns on Sexual Reproductive Health are required.
