The much awaited prison escape trial of murder and rape convict Thabo Bester has once again stalled.

Many believed that in 2025 the trial would finally be heard in the Free High Court in Bloemfontein.

But Bester and his lover and co-accused Dr Nandipha Magudumana, had other pressing matters to attend to in an attempt to get themselves off the hook.

These interlocutory matters are sitting in various courts including the constitutional court and have a bearing on Bester prison escape trial.
