Police are on the scene of a cash-in-transit robbery along Khumalo street in Thokoza, Ekurhuleni.
It is believed a gang of robbers in a private vehicle rammed into a security van transporting cash, causing it to overturn.
The suspects fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
A 14 year old girl was injured by a stray bullet during the robbery.
