Cooler conditions along the Garden Route region of the Western Cape have been attributed to the containment of a wildfire, which was out of control near Albertinia on Saturday. Fire crews worked overnight to extinguish the blaze. Several rondawel thatch roofs on private properties were impacted by the fire. Crews are busy with hotspot areas and mopping up operations.
