The City of Johannesburg Emergency Management Services is urging residents to exercise caution following a Yellow Level Two warning issued by the South African Weather Service.

The Weather Service says thunderstorms may bring heavy rain and flash floods, especially in low-lying areas and places near rivers and streams.

Johannesburg EMS has cautioned motorists, residents and church groups to stay away from flooded roads and river streams.
