World leaders to convene in SA for G20 Summit

South Africa will host the G20 Social Summit, from 18 to 20 November 2025. The Social Summit is convened under South Africa's G20 Presidency.

It seeks to provide an inclusive platform that amplifies the voices of civil society, grassroots organisations, and local communities.

The gathering will provide a platform for these groups to engage directly on global issues that impact daily life.

This is the first G20 summit on African soil, and it aims to highlight African issues and those of the Global South.
