Three people who were trapped between the Mutale River and a stream at Gwakwani village outside Thohoyandou in Limpopo, have been rescued by helicopter.

The woman and her two daughters spent two days and nights in the rain, as they couldn't cross the overflowing river or the stream.

Meanwhile a teenage boy is still missing after he was swept away in the Mutale River. The child's exact age is unknown.

Family representative Tshifhiwa Ndanduleni shares more.
