Zimbabwe's Agriculture minister Perrance Shiri has died. This has been confirmed by President Emmerson Mnangagwa. Shiri, a retired general, was involved in some key moments in Zimbabwe's checkered history. Mnangagwa described the late Shiri as a long time friend, colleague and a true patriot, who devoted his life to the liberation, independence and service of his country.
