AU Peace & Security Council Calls For DR Congo Polls To Take Place Soon

The African Union's Peace and Security Council has held a high level meeting on the evolving security situation in the DRC. The meeting discussed, among other things, the country's delayed election. The council called on all parties to implement the December 31 agreement with no preconditions. The delegations also said national polls should be held soon to ensure peace prevails in the country.
