Durban locals and holidaymakers have braved the cold and drizzly weather, making the most of what is left of their festive holidays by visiting the beach.

The unfavourable weather conditions experienced by KwaZulu-Natal in the last three days have resulted in a slight decline in the numbers of beachgoers.

However, these holidaymakers say they will not allow the bad weather to spoil their vacation.

Senior reporter Simphiwe Makhanya caught up with beachgoers on Durban's main beach..
