The eThekwini Municipality says three of the four beaches which were closed due to pollution have now reopened. Battery Beach, eThekwini Beach and Country Club beach are once again open to the public.
The city says it is still awaiting test results to determine whether Laguna Beach can safely reopen. The beaches were closed yesterday as a precautionary measure. Meanwhile beachgoers on Durban's north beach have been enjoying another hot, sunny day on the beach.
