The eThekwini Municipality says three of the four beaches, which were closed due to high levels of E. coli and other pollutants, have now been reopened. Battery Beach, eThekwini Beach and Country Club Beach are once again open to the public. The Municipality says it's still awaiting water quality test results to determine whether Laguna Beach in the Blue Lagoon area can safely reopen. The beaches were closed on Friday as a precautionary measure.
