KwaZulu-Natal Police Commissioner, Lieutenant-General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi, says their Festive Season Safety operations have so far proven a success. Mkhwanazi, accompanied by Premier Thami Ntuli visited Durban South Beach as part of a safety awareness blitz across beaches and shopping malls in the eThekwini Metro. Mkhwanazi says the fourth and last phase of their operations which starts tomorrow will look at traffic safety and highway patrols as holidaymakers drive back home.
