Only one third of South Africans surveyed for the South African Reconciliation Barometer have expressed confidence in the effectiveness of the Government of National Unity.

This is one of the findings of the longest-running public opinion survey on social cohesion, trust, national identity and reconciliation in post-apartheid South Africa.

It's conducted by the Institute for Justice and Reconciliation.
