Residents and businesses in Kenton-On-Sea, Bushman's River and Marselle under the Ndlambe Local Municipality in the Eastern Cape say they have experienced water challenges for years.

A recent water outage lasted over 2 weeks, with businesses forced to dig deep into their pockets to continue operating throughout the festive season.

Water tanks provided by the municipality failed to provide enough water to residential areas, as demand outstripped supply, especially during the busy holiday period.
