The owner of the KwaNoxolo Tavern in Bekkersdal on Gauteng's West Rand has been arrested for operating an illegal liquor outlet. Police discovered that the tavern had a fraudulent liquor licence. All the alcohol on the premises has been confiscated. A gang of heavily armed men stormed the shebeen on Sunday morning and opened fire randomly at patrons. Authorities say the death toll from the mass shooting has now risen to ten.
