Lesotho highlands water project shutdown for maintenance

Published
The planned temporary shutdown of the Lesotho Highlands Water Project is in full swing. The 45 kilometre water tunnel inspection and maintenance will continue till the end of November.
While, there won't be any major water disruptions anticipated for Gauteng residents, the severe drought season calls for water restrictions.
There's also been some crucial work done on the Polihali dam. The dam will compliment the existing Katse and Mohale dams for an improved water flow to the thirsty Gauteng province.
