Parliament says the Ad Hoc Committee investigating allegations of criminal infiltration, corruption and political interference in the justice system will today consider its interim report on the work completed to date.
Today's meeting will be about getting an update on outstanding consultations as well as to delibarate on its proposed programme going forward.
The initial deadline that National Assembly Speaker Thoko Didiza set for the committee to table its report to The House was at the end of October, but it requested an extention until the end of November.
This week National Director of Public Prosecutions Shamila Batohi and Chief of Staff in the Ministry of Police Cedrick Nkabinde are expected to testify before the committee.
We now cross live to SABC News Reporter Abra Barbier in Parliament.
