The Ad Hoc Committee investigating allegations of criminal infiltration, corruption and political interference in the justice system, has taken a tough stance on witnesses appearing before it. Members dismissed requests by forensic private investigator Paul O'Sullivan and businessman Brown Mogotsi to testify virtually. Both cited security concerns, but the committee insists that face-to-face testimony is non-negotiable. It held its first preparatory meeting for the year, after adjourning late last year.
