The Sol Plaatje University in Kimberley, in partnership with a local Gender-Based Violence organisation, have re-launched a GBV safety and reporting desk at the university. It's aimed at providing immediate, accessible support for anyone affected by GBV on the campus. Today (Wednesday) marks the end of the 16 Days of Activism for No Violence Against Women and Children campaign, but the Women Waging War against GBV organisation and the university say they are taking the fight beyond this period.
