Violent protests erupted near Namanga, a Kenyan town on the border with Tanzania, on Thursday as unrest from Tanzania's disputed election spilled across the border. Police fired stun grenades and live ammunition at protesters, who scattered in panic as tear gas filled the streets. In chaotic scenes, demonstrators were seen carrying an injured person before dropping them and fleeing as gunshots rang out.
