The current traditional initiation season is nearing its end in the North West province, as male and female initiates complete their rite of passage in various schools.
The Provincial Initiation Coordinating Commitee granted permission and issued permits for schools to operate in more than 70 villages under the traditional leadership of Barolong boo Tlou le Tau, including in Tlakgameng near Ganyesa.
Traditional leadership and goverment have been working closely to perform this tradition and keep initiates safe.
