This at a time when negotiations on a trade pact - that could help ease some of the tariff pain - have dragged on for months. The uncertainty, coupled with the cost of exporting to the US, has hit India's textile industry hard. And many companies say they are looking for new markets, with some setting their eyes on South Africa.
