The Eastern Cape is expecting high volumes of traffic on its main roads as at the peak of the festive season continues. Holiday makers are making their way to different destinations, resulting to congestion on the roads. So far, seven people have died on the Eastern Cape roads, with six of them involved in a horrific car crash that left the bodies burnt beyond recognition. The Eastern Cape Department of Transport continues to monitor traffic across the province, especially on high risk areas.
