The Khampepe Commission of Inquiry, looking into allegations of attempts to stop the investigations or prosecutions of TRC cases, has postponed its proceedings until the 26th of November.
The delay draws concern from families seeking justice for apartheid-era crimes.
Speaking on behalf of the Simelane family, Human Settlements Minister Thembi Simelane says the delay is deeply painful for all 25 families involved.
Simelane, whose sister Nokuthula Simelane was abducted and disappeared in 1983, says she hopes the inquiry will finally reveal where her sister is buried and bring the family the long-awaited closure.
