Helicopter Crash In Nigeria Kills Four

A helicopter crashed into the Lagos Lagoon in Nigeria and killed four people Wednesday.
The four deaths were confirmed by the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA). Two injured individuals were taken to the Afolabi Hospital in nearby Oworonshoki and the General Hospital in Ikeja.
The accident happened at about 3:45 p.m. The helicopter had originated from Escravos was seen hovering above the water for a while before exploding and plunging into the water.
The aircraft had 12 passengers on board including the crew members. NEMA workers along with officials from the Accident Investigation Bureau (AIB) and Nigerian police rescued the victims. Six people have been rescued so far.
